About our scoring system
Here at Gizmomash, we think that big numbers are convoluted. Really, what’s the difference between 4.5/5 and 92.575/100? Like less than 2%. Does it really matter if our scale is out of 10 points, 100 points, or 1,000 points? Kind of. The way we see it, the more simple a scale is, the easier it is to understand how we feel about something.
So when we say something is 5 Gears out of 5, we mean that you must absolutely check it out! Where as anything between 2 to 4 Gears, we may think it’s okay but may only be of interest to you within certain conditions. 1 Gear may be taken as “stay away if possible” while 0 Gears is “avoid at all costs”.
