I’m not sure what’s more amazing: The fact that it actually chills your beer or that someone actually built this completely out of Lego.
I try to keep the daily vids somewhat tech related, but this one had me in stitches. I’ve been avoiding the cinnamon challenge videos like they were the black plague. They’re gross and usually end up with people gagging or vomiting. However, GloZell takes a huge soup ladle full of cinnamon and hilarity ensues. A few days after she did the challenge, GloZell stated on her twitter that she still has “cinnamon in my eyes, nose and chest. And ah … it burns from both ends.”
Why doesn’t this woman have her own show?!
Done as a viral marketing tool for the movie Chronicle, three RC airplanes were custom made to look like humans and flown around New York. This would have been totally awesome if it happened during the whole fake Rapture scare last year.
The daily vids haven’t been so daily lately, but none the less, I bring you this “Game Fail” from the new MMORPG Star Wars: The Old Republic. In this clip it appears that when Darth Zashs speech is interrupted by the player, she bursts into an interpretative dance piece that “yet it still manages to be more tolerable than any of the dialogue in Attack of the Clones” as one YouTube user puts it. Bravo!
I love behind the scenes videos. They’re always a great way of giving you a glimpse of the world that you generally don’t get to see.
Though there’s many fake iPhone videos out there, this is one of the better iPhone 5 commercial mockups. This video was released earlier today by Israeli iPhone app developer and 3D artist Kobi Snir.
Who knew that a pudgy little animal with scary spikes coming out of it could make such unintelligible but cute noises. Hmm… then again, the same could be said for Mariah Carey.
Today’s daily video has been making the rounds all over the internet lately. There’s an ongoing discussion as to whether the video is totally legit or computer-generated. There are a few questionable elements going on with that video: the comments for it are disabled on YouTube, you don’t see the people in any of the shots when the cars are racing, the gas coming from the cars appears to have other-world physics, and the cars themselves move too smoothly, plus they don’t seem to get dark enough in the shadowed areas of the track.
Hope this clears things up!
The folks over at CollegeHumor have done it again. They have pretty accurately recreated the whole Battlestar Galactica series in the style of Final Fantasy VI.
If only I had known it was this easy… You know what? This needs to be made into a mobile phone app!
