Review: Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Say what you will about Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, the new Action RPG from Big Huge Studios, but you can’t deny that something great is going to come from the collaboration of three great artists – Oblivion and Morrowind lead game designer Ken Rolston, Artist and Spawn creator Todd McFarlane, and Forgotten Realms author R. A. Salvatore.  Kingdoms was developed by Big Huge Games, mostly known for a few real-time strategy game titles.

Review: Mortal Kombat

Happy New Year everyone! While last year brought us some great titles (along with some not so great ones), I figured I’d kick off the new year with a review of one of my favourite 2011 titles – Mortal Kombat from the newly formed NetherRealm Studios. Though this review is based off of the PS3 version of the game, it’s pretty similar to the Xbox’s version with the only difference being the character roster, which I’ll get to later.
